The K house is the most economic design and is commonly used in construction sites, oil sites, and mining sites as workers' quarters or site offices. It is also widely utilized for soldier camps, government projects, and school projects as labor accommodation, student dormitories, clinics, and laundry rooms.

Due to its durability and ease of setup, it is often used as disaster relief housing or low-income family housing. The structure is designed to withstand strong winds and comes with a steel base, eliminating the need for a cement foundation.
