Clean room is a specially designed environment to exclude particles in the air, bacteria, and other harmful pollutants. It maintains indoor temperature, cleanliness, interior pressure, air velocity, air distribution, noise, vibration, and lighting, as well as static control within specific parameters. Regardless of how outside air conditions change, the interior maintains its original set requirements for cleanliness, temperature, humidity, and pressure performance characteristics.
The main function of a clean room is to control the cleanliness and temperature & humidity of the atmosphere that products (such as silicon) contact. This ensures products are manufactured in an optimal environment. According to international practices, dust-free purification levels are determined by the number of particles per cubic meter. Even a tiny amount of dust can have a negative impact on optical structures, making a dust-free environment an inevitable requirement for precision manufacturing.
